Audit actions with the Activity Log

Every important operation is recorded so you can review, filter, and audit what DiskDog did.

The Activity Log keeps a tamper-aware record of operations across all modules — organizing, cleaning, deleting, encrypting, rule runs, launcher actions, license changes, config imports, and more. Each entry shows when it happened, which module and action, a detail summary, and whether it succeeded.

Filter and search

  • Filter by module (e.g. Encryptor, Disk Info, Quick Launcher).
  • Filter by status — success or failed only.
  • Filter by date range, or search free text across action and detail.

Retention and storage

Logs are pruned automatically by age and size so they never grow unbounded. You can tune the retention policy in the log settings.

  • Enable / disable logging entirely.
  • Retention days — delete entries older than N days.
  • Max size — cap total log size in MB.
  • Disk threshold — stop logging when the disk gets too full.

After a bulk delete or an automated rule run, open the Activity Log to confirm exactly what was processed and whether anything failed.
