Monitor disks and find large files

See usage, real-time read/write speed, SMART health, and the biggest files on any drive.

Disk Info is the dashboard for your storage. It lists every mounted drive with capacity and usage, monitors live I/O, reports SMART health, and helps you locate the largest files. It also hosts the Cold Files, Duplicates, and Find Copies tabs.

Disk overview

  • Each drive shows used / total capacity, usage percentage, and file system.
  • A colored bar warns when a drive is getting full (yellow ≥ 70%, red ≥ 90%).
  • Open Root jumps to the drive in your file manager.

Real-time I/O monitor

Start the I/O monitor to watch live read and write speed per drive. Useful for spotting which disk a heavy background task is hitting.

SMART health

  • Reports remaining life (wear level %), temperature, power-on hours, and reallocated sectors.
  • On Windows this uses WMI/PowerShell; other platforms require smartmontools.
  • A status dot (good / warning / critical) flags drives that may be failing.

Find the biggest files

  1. 1Select a directory and click Scan Large Files.
  2. 2Choose how many results to show (Top 10 / 20 / 50 / 100).
  3. 3Open a file in Explorer, or delete it (respecting your Recycle Bin setting).

Cold Files, Duplicates, and Find Copies each have their own tab inside Disk Info — see their dedicated guides.
